1. Who we are

2. Products and custom orders
Most of our tombstones and headstones are made to order. Product photos are examples; natural granite and stone vary in colour, grain and markings, so your finished product may differ slightly from the images shown.
Before we start manufacturing a custom tombstone, we will confirm the design, size, stone, lettering and wording with you. Please check these details carefully: we manufacture according to the details you approve.
3. Prices
All prices are shown in South African Rand (ZAR). Delivery and installation costs are shown at checkout or included in your quote. Prices may change without notice, but the price you pay is the price confirmed when your order is placed.
Perfect Memorials Tombstone is not registered for VAT, so no VAT is added to our prices.
4. Payment
We accept card payments through Yoco (a secure, PCI-compliant payment provider) and direct bank transfer (EFT). We never see or store your full card details. For EFT orders, work begins once the payment reflects in our account.
Online orders are paid in full at checkout, including the delivery cost shown. Orders arranged by quote above R10,000 require a 50% deposit before we start manufacturing, with the balance payable before delivery or installation; quoted orders of R10,000 or less are paid in full.
5. Cemetery approval and installation
Where installation is included, we install at the cemetery on a date agreed with you.
The client is responsible for obtaining cemetery permission and paying any cemetery fees. Please send us the cemetery approval once it has been granted; we cannot install without it. On request, we can supply a drawing of your tombstone to submit with your application.
6. Cancellations and cooling-off
Ready-made items bought online (for example vases and accessories) may be cancelled within 7 days of delivery, in line with the Electronic Communications and Transactions Act, 2002. You pay the cost of returning the item.
Custom-made tombstones and headstones are made to your specification and are therefore not subject to this cooling-off right once manufacturing has started. See our Refunds & Returns Policy.
7. Defects and warranty
If a product arrives damaged or defective, please contact us within 7 days of delivery with photos. Under the Consumer Protection Act you may choose a repair, replacement or refund for goods that are defective.
8. Delivery
Delivery is explained in our Shipping & Delivery Policy. Risk in the goods passes to you on delivery or installation.
9. Privacy
We handle your personal information in line with POPIA, as described in our Privacy Policy.

These terms are governed by the laws of the Republic of South Africa.
